CASTING CALL: Fashion Editorial Photographer for 2012 Lookbook
ahr.es.ihm by R. Shay Miles is looking for a talented editorial fashion photographer with a keen eye to help bring ahr.es.ihm’s 2012 lookbook to life, called “Divas, Dolls, & Dames”.
As a grassroots designer brand, this is our attempt to branch-out in a major way and having a dope photographer that will keep the shoot focused on premium results, is key.
The ideal photographer for this 2012 lookbook would:
- Be a local (Bay Area) photographer or a photographer with paid arrangements (paid by ahr.es.ihm) to come to the Bay Area for the 2-day photoshoot.
- Have skills in photo editing/retouching.
- Have the ability to work with 4-5 models during the shoot.
- Have the ability to shoot 21-25 shots in 2 days and 2 seasons (Spring & Fall/Winter) in 2 days.
- Be deadline driven.
- Be available to begin the shoot during the last week of January or early-February.
- Have an updated online fashion portfolio.
- Be able to produce editorial/fashion shots that resemble magazine tear sheets like Nordstrom catalog, W Magazine, and Harper’s Bazaar.
- Have own equipment, no rentals please (i.e., lighting, etc.)
- Have a partnership with a studio and/or model agency (optional).
This is a paid assignment, to be discussed during negotiations.
